Key Responsibilities
Meridia Recruitment Solutions has partnered with High Liner Foods on their search for a Manager, IT Service Delivery & Customer Experience to join their team.
- Review purchase requests and confirm specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements.
- Request supplier quotations and compare prices, payment terms, and lead times.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on order confirmations and deliveries.
- Coordinate with warehouse and technical teams to resolve quantity or quality discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate supplier records, purchasing documents, and order tracking reports.
- Monitor supplier performance and support the identification of alternative sources.
- Coordinate with finance on invoice discrepancies and agreed payment requirements.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with suppliers and colleagues.
- Practical knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier evaluation.
- Strong negotiation and professional communication skills.
- Ability to compare quotations and assess total purchasing costs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and purchasing or ERP systems.
- Accurate record keeping and attention to order details.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and competing deadlines.
- Experience in industrial raw materials or chemical procurement is an advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
